In addition to warmer weather, spring break, budding leaves, and baseball, the Spring means thinking differently about our skin.

We are all ready to say goodbye to days of dry and peeling elbows, knees, feet and hands! Give your body head to toe moisture as we head into spring. Remember that Vaseline or Aquaphor is a great for the stubborn dry layers on your feet and hands. Pile it in on your feet and sleep overnight in cotton socks and you will surprised how soft and sandal-ready your feet are in the morning!

While we still need to wear sunscreen every day, the warmer weather allows us to better optimize our anti-aging skincare routines. In the spring, our skin is less dry and now we can think about loading our retinoids and our alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and plan a laser procedure or VI Peel to refresh the skin. A gentle full body scrub can help smooth out winter flaking and get you ready for your spray on tans… We all know that tanning and tanning beds are a no no!

We are happy to offer to you some of our favorite spring treatments at LMMedicalNYC:

Kybella – Kybella is a non-surgical injection for reducing moderate to severe fat on the upper neck, otherwise known as a “double chin.” The injection contains a naturally occurring molecule which dissolves fat, leaving all other cells healthy and intact. We are proud to be one of the few centers in NYC offering this safe and innovative approach to rejuvenate the neck and jawline.

VI Peel – The aging process as well as sun exposure and harsh environmental assault from the winter only adds to the problem. With more than 10 years of experience with satisfied patients, the VI Peel can reverse this damage in as little as 7 days. It is specifically formulated to rejuvenate aging and environmental assault by softening fine lines and wrinkles, restoring more even skin tone, and smooths away rough skin texture left over from the winter.
