Dr. Lesley performs a neck lift to improve the signs of aging along the jawline and neck by removing excess skin, tightening lax musculature, eliminating fat, and decreasing the appearance of a double chin.
I had a turkey neck after losing a significant amount of weight. I was obsessed about it and my son suggested I get it fixed. He had surgery done by Dr. R in the past. I was comfortable right from the start and this is not easy since I am a healthcare provider myself. Everything was done at the highest professional level and I had no complications. She did such a great facelift that none of my friends know I had it done, they just can’t figure out why I look so great!

What is a neck lift?
A neck lift improves the signs of aging along the jaw line and neck by removing excess skin, tightening lax musculature, eliminating fat, and decreasing the appearance of a double chin. Frequently, it is a procedure done in combination with a facelift.
What are the benefits of a neck lift?
Some of the benefits of a neck lift include: a more defined jaw line and smooth and tightened skin around the neck. Excess skin that has started to sag can be trimmed and repositioned to create a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Who is the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate is a healthy patient with excess fat, loose skin, and jowls around the neck who is looking to achieve an improved jaw line contour. Patients with neck folds and creases find the most success with this surgical procedure.
What does the surgery entail?
The procedure typically takes around two hours to complete. Incisions are carefully made beneath the chin through which the muscles are tightened and fatty deposits are removed, so that once healed, the scars are hidden. Additional incisions may be required around the back of the ear to remove any excess skin. Dr. Lesley uses the most advanced surgical techniques and has an artistic eye that allows her to re-sculpt the neck area in a way that is natural, yet youthful and firm.
What is the recovery like?
Recovery is relatively simple. A compression bandage is worn for the first 24 hours and drains are not used. A day after the procedure, the bandage will be removed and there may be some swelling and bruising that lasts around a week. Full recovery will take a few weeks however. After only a few days, most patients will feel well enough to return to work and engage in social activities.
