Clear Away Unwanted Red Spots
Angiomas
Angiomas are harmless growths made up of small, clustered blood vessels. There are several types of angiomas, including cherry angiomas, spider angiomas, angiokeratomas, and venous lakes. Cherry angiomas are the most common and look like red, roundish, mole-like growths. Spider angiomas appear as red lines extending from a central red spot. Angiokeratomas appear as dark red, brown, or bluish spots and are usually rough to the touch. Venous lakes are soft, slightly elevated, dark blue or purple bumps and typically form on the lips or ears.
Even though angiomas are harmless, many people choose to remove them because they can snag on clothing and jewelry, hurt and bleed when bumped, or simply don’t like their aesthetic appearance. Regardless of why you want to remove your angiomas, Dr. Morgan Rabach will help you find the right treatment so you can live more comfortably and with greater confidence in your skin.
