Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared  treatment to use ultrasound for a “facelift.”

I have tried many dermatologists before Dr. Morgan and I can honestly say no one has been so genuinely passionate about helping me treat my skin.

What is Ultherapy and how does it work?

Ultherapy is the only FDA approved  non-surgical approach to correct mild and moderate skin laxity and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the neck and submental areas of the face. It uses intense focused ultrasound technology to deliver short pulses of transcutaneous ultrasound energy with multi-level frequencies to the specified depths of the skin ranging from 1.5-4.5 mm. A combination of energy and temperature work to energize the skin from a cellular level to create new collagen.

What are the benefits of this treatment?

Ultherapy differs from other tightening/lifting procedures as a more natural remedy to combat the effects of aging skin. Additionally, this procedure has little downtime and most patients will begin to see results within 2-3 months as new collagen begins to lift and tighten the treated area.

What does this treatment entail?

An ultrasound gel is placed on the Ultherapy applicator and a focused ultrasound energy will be delivered beneath the skin’s surface. Optimal placement of each treatment is determined via Ultherapy’s ultrasound imaging platform. Treatments last 30-60 minutes depending on the focused location of the body. After treatment, skin may appear red and swollen, but these conditions will subside within the first few hours.

Who is the ideal candidate for this procedure?

The ideal candidate for this procedure is a patient who is not quite ready for facial surgery, but is concerned with lax skin in the neck and submental areas of the face.

Where can I get ultherapy?

Focused areas of treatment are: neck, brow, lower cheek, chin, chest, and face (upper and lower). Ultherapy can also be performed on the abdomen, arms, and legs.
