Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)

Nose shape can impact the balance and harmony of the facial features. When a nose is misshapen or distracting, it can take away from the symmetry of the face. For certain nose shape alterations, non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose job) can be used to create the desired appearance. Dr. Lesley Rabach is a double board certified facial plastic surgeon at LM Medical NYC who offers non-surgical nose jobs for our patients.

Dr. Lesley specializes in placing small amounts of dissolvable filler for an immediate reshaping of the nose. While not all nose reshaping can be completed with non-surgical treatments, there are a variety of issues that can be improved without surgical intervention. Facial filler injections and the use of neuromodulators can be used to address a few specific nose shape issues, including:

  • Bunny lines
  • Smoothing bumps on the bridge
  • Straightening a crooked nose
  • Correct a droopy nasal tip

The non-surgical nose job cannot make the nose smaller, but there are many different reshaping options. In most cases, minimally-invasive rhinoplasty can be performed in a quick office visit, and the results are often immediate without downtime. The downside is that they are not permanent, and the treatments do need to be repeated to maintain the results.

What is a nonsurgical nose job?

A nonsurgical nose job temporarily changes the shape of your nose due to injections of filler. It can correct asymmetries, straighten bumps and help lift the tip of the nose.

What fillers are used?

We use a customized blend of hyaluronic acid fillers, which break down naturally over months to years and can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

How much downtime is there?

No downtime, but there may be swelling or bruising. Most people go back to work right after the appointment or the next day.

How long will it last?

Usually, a non-surgical nose job lasts anywhere from six months to eighteen months, depending on the amount and placement of filler.
