Sweat Treatment

Stay Dry, Stay Confident

Sweat Reduction

Excessive sweating is often frustrating and uncomfortable, and regular deodorants or store-bought products may not be enough to manage it.

At LM Medical NYC, people from across New York City come to us for advanced sweat-reduction treatments to help with hyperhidrosis, a condition that causes excessive sweating in areas like the underarms, hands, feet, scalp, or face.

Dr. Morgan Rabach creates treatment plans tailored to how much you sweat, where it happens, and your lifestyle goals, aiming for longer-lasting dryness and a better quality of life.

Treatment Options For Sweat Reduction

One of the most popular treatment options is BOTOX, which temporarily blocks the nerve signals that activate the sweat glands.

Additional treatment options include prescription-strength topical treatments, oral medications, and energy-based therapies.

What Can I Expect During Sweat Reduction Treatment?

Our sweat-reduction treatments are performed in the office and require little downtime. For BOTOX treatment, the area will be cleaned and marked before receiving a series of small injections just under the skin.

The procedure is quick and takes less than 30 minutes, depending on how many areas are treated. You might feel a mild pinch, some tenderness, or notice temporary redness where you received the injections.

After treatment, most people can go back to their usual activities right away. Sweating will usually start to improve within a few days, with more noticeable results over the next week or two.

What is the Recovery Like After Sweat Reduction Treatment?

Some will notice temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising at the treatment site, but these should resolve quickly.

Most will be able to return to work, exercise, and their usual routines right after treatment, but it’s best to avoid intense heat, heavy exercise, or touching the treated area(s) for the first 24 hours after injections.

You’ll see results improve over the next few days, and they can last for several months, depending on the treatment and your individual response.

Combining My Sweat Reduction Treatment with Others

Several of Dr. Morgan Rabach’s patients choose to combine sweat-reduction treatments with other cosmetic or skin treatments to feel more comfortable and confident and to improve their skin’s appearance.

BOTOX

If you already get BOTOX for wrinkles, you can combine cosmetic and sweat reduction injections in the same visit for added convenience and a more complete treatment.

Facial

If you have facial sweating or skin congestion, you can pair sweat-reduction treatments with custom facials to refresh your skin and support your overall skin care routine.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is often combined with underarm sweat reduction to help reduce irritation, prevent ingrown hairs, and address odor, while also smoothing your skin.

How Much Does Sweat Reduction Treatment Cost in New York City, NY?

The cost of sweat reduction treatment in New York City depends on the method used, how many areas are treated, how severe the sweating is, and how much product is needed.

BOTOX pricing is usually based on the number of units needed to reduce sweating in the chosen area. Treating larger or multiple areas may increase the total cost.

Because every patient’s needs are unique, final pricing is determined after a consultation and customized treatment plan with Dr. Rabach at our downtown New York City office.
