Jeuveau Injections

Neuromodulator injections are best known for their effectiveness smoothing the glabellar lines, the “11” between the brows. Jeuveau® is one of the latest neuromodulators to hit the market, FDA-approved for treating glabellar lines as an alternative to Botox. Many lines and wrinkles are more pronounced when certain muscles contract. Neuromodulators relax targeted muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic lines. These include the glabellar lines, and other smile lines, crow’s feet and forehead creases. Jeuveau works similarly to Botox injections, blocking muscle contracting for up to 3-4 months after a quick, non-invasive treatment in our office.

Benefits of Jeuveau Treatment

Jeuveau injections can be performed in about 15-20 minutes in our office. Most people begin seeing the results within a few days, and the targeted lines and wrinkles smooth and relax with 1-2 weeks. There are very few possible side effects; mild bruising at the injection site is the most common, but this can be prevented in most cases.

Jeuveau injections are similar to Botox. Some patients have better results with Jeuveau, and some prefer Botox, Dysport or Xeomin injections. All are neuromodulators and work in a similar fashion to smooth lines and wrinkles.
