Non-Surgical Facelift
Many people begin to notice facial aging changes as early as their late 20s and early 30s. While surgery may not be recommended for facial lifting in the early stages, there are cosmetic treatments that can improve the firmness and appearance of the face. At LM Medical NYC, our double board certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Lesley Rabach, specializes in using non-surgical cosmetic treatments for incredible anti-aging results. We offer the non-surgical facelift, or liquid facelift, at our clinics in Manhattan.
In the early stages of facial aging, the skin can begin to lose firmness and tightness. Lines and wrinkles can form, and the jowls and cheeks begin to sag. When these signs of aging are addressed early, it can help slow the aging process. Skin tightening treatments with radiofrequency or ultrasound heat can stimulate collagen to improve firmness and elasticity in the skin on the face and neck. Cosmetic and regenerative injections can be combined with skin treatments to provide a customized, non-surgical facelift.
Liquid Facelift
The intent of a liquid facelift is to sculpt, contour and lift the face while also getting rid of lines and wrinkles and adding volume to key areas of the face. A combination of injectable products are used to both fill the face and relax the muscles to achieve a more youthful appearance through a non-surgical method.
Liquid Facelift FAQs
- Which injectable products are most commonly used?
Common products used include Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, Restylane®, Restylane Lyft®, Restylane Silk®, Sculptra®, Radiesse® and Juvederm® (Ultra, Ultra Plus, Vollure, and Voluma)™.
- What are the associated risks and complications from this procedure?
Patients may, but rarely, experience bruising, swelling and tenderness that subsides in a few days to a week.
- What are the benefits of a liquid facelift versus a traditional facelift?
The major advantages to this procedure are that there is almost no downtime. A liquid facelift can bridge the gap for someone who desires youthful optimization but doesn’t want to have any downtime. We often combine the liquid facelift with Ultherapy, which together, give phenomenal results lasting 1-2 years. Both procedures are performed in the office.

This procedure takes between 30-60 minutes, depending on the extent of the areas treated. At LM Medical, our priority is safety first, followed by the best results possible in the comfort of our office.
- How long will results last?
Expect results to last up to two years. Additional treatments can be performed to enhance this procedure.
- When do patients typically start to see their results?
Some results are seen immediately, with maximal results seen in 1-2 weeks following treatment.
- What is the downtime associated with a liquid facelift?
There is no downtime with a liquid facelift, and most patients can return to work when they feel comfortable.
