Revision Hair Transplant

NeoGraft® using FUE is an FDA-approved and advanced hair transplant system that can be a wonderful solution for many men and women with hair loss. It is suited to replace long or short hair – even if you prefer to have extremely short or shaved hair, FUE hair transplants can be suitable. Good candidates for a NeoGraft hair transplant have thinning or receding hair, but still have areas of thicker hair for harvesting follicles. NeoGraft is a fantastic option for individuals with scarring from previous hair transplants. The FUE method can be used to hide old scars and thicken hair with a revision hair transplant procedure. Incisions are not needed for FUE hair transplants, resulting in no visible scars from your hair transplant revision procedure.

Hair Transplant Scar Revision

For patients who had a surgical hair transplant procedure, the incision used to remove the hair grafts leaves a scar. Older techniques left wider scars when performing follicular unit transplantation (FUT) or other types of hair transplants. There may be bald strips or noticeable scars in the donor area. Hair transplant scar revision can be performed to reduce the scar tissue to make it easier to hide, or FUE hair transplant can be performed to cover the scar.
